Stanko Abadžić was born in Vukovar, Croatia in 1952. When he was 15, his father gave him his first camera, a Smena 8. He became a member of the Borovo Photo Club, which organized his first joint and solo exhibitions in Vukovar and Borovo. He received his degree in German language and literature.
