In 2015, after completing his training at Gobelins, Didier Bizet turned his attention to photography. He is drawn to the countries of the former Soviet bloc, where the melancholy of time and history can be faithfully captured. As a documentary photographer, he sees photography as a genuine apprenticeship in understanding the world.

Stephen Shames creates award winning photo essays on social issues for foundations, advocacy organizations, the media, and museums. He is the author of 15 photo books. His latest is Stephen Shames: a lifetime in photography (Kehrer Verlag).

Fiona has over twenty years' picture editing experience across a range of newspaper titles as well as being a curator, speaker on photojournalism and mentor within the photography community. She was picture editor of the Guardian for ten years before taking up the role of Head of Photography for the Guardian News and Media Group.

Cynthia Boll (born 1972, Leiden) is a Dutch documentary photographer whose work explores how political, economic, and environmental forces shape human lives. Trained in economics before studying at the Photo Academy Amsterdam (graduating in 2006), she has worked independently since 2007 on long-term projects that blend journalism, empathy, and artistry.
